Teachers

 

Ms. Susan Chandler teaches Music to students in kindergarten through eighth grade.  She received a Bachelor's from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Church Music from Christian Theological Seminary.  Ms. Chandler enjoys collecting giraffes, photography, gardening, and spending time with her cat.  She has been teaching for sixteen years.

Ms. Gretchen Fucio teaches Art to students in kindergarten through eighth grade.  She graduated from University of Indianapolis with a major in Art Education.  Ms. Fucio has one child and a cat.  She enjoys collecting antiques, reading, and art in any spare time.  Ms. Fucio has been teaching for nine years at St. Jude.  She enjoys teaching because "something interesting is always happening - it is never dull."  Ms. Fucio would like to also remind everyone that donations of art materials are always welcome!

Ms. Meagan Scheidler teaches Health and Physical Education.

Mrs. Sherri Luedman is our Special Education Teacher.

Mrs. Pamela Curley teaches Spanish to grades 2 thru 8.

Mrs. Carol Boening is the Librarian.  She has been a volunteer or employee for nine years.  Mrs. Boening attended Youngstown State University for an Associate of the Arts degree.  Along with spending time with her two children, she enjoys baking, shopping, walking, and watching both reality and news T.V.  Mrs. Boening finds working in the library enjoyable because "it allows me to interact with children of all ages."

Mrs. Susan Hancock is the Title 1 teacher. She has been at St. Jude for two years. Mrs. Hancock attended the University of Indianapolis and Indiana Wesleyan for degrees in Speech, Theater, and receiving an Elementary License. She has two children and enjoys quilting, reading, basket weaving, and mission work. Mrs. Hancock feels that "children are our future" and wants to help them make it a better world.
